The PSA and Government are currently finalising court documents regarding the making of the main Salaries Award. A hearing is scheduled in the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC) for Friday 9 July 2021 at 12:00pm when the Salaries Award will be made.
The increase of 2.04 per cent to salaries and salary-related allowances will apply from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2021 (likely to be the pay week of 19 July) resulting in an overall increase in remuneration of 2.5 per cent when taking into account an increase of 0.5 per cent to the rate of compulsory superannuation from 1 July 2021 under the Superannuation Guarantee Act.
The Awards listed below which flow on form the main Salaries Award are also being finalised by the Government and the PSA and will be listed for hearing either on or shortly after 9 July 2021.
