Cancellation of Retired Associates Group Meeting on Tuesday 24 August

Due to the current strict COVID-19 lockdowns in place in New South Wales the Retired Associates Group Meeting will be deferred to 26 October.

As per our previous bulletin below help is available.

These difficult times can be very lonely and affect everyone’s mental health. If you are not coping you can contact the PSA President Nicole Jess. Nicole can be contacted on 0427 609 199 or at .

Outside agencies to call for support are Lifeline 131 114, Beyond Blue 1300 224 636 and the NSW Mental Health Line 1800 011 511.

You can also contact Reg Lobb, the elected Welfare Officer for the Retired Associates Group on (02) 4294 1656 or 0432 390 267.

To stay up to date regarding COVID-19 rules, restrictions and support packages retired members can call service NSW on 13 77 88 and select the COVID-19 option or visit www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19.

Retired members may find there are government programs available to them through the Service NSW cost-of-living programs. The programs include rebates and discounts based on a person’s circumstances.

Service NSW offers two ways to check eligibility and claim. Members can call 13 77 88 and speak to a Cost of Living Specialist or visit www.service.nsw.gov.au/campaign/cost-living and complete a self-assessment.
