The PSA has been informed that government employees in the Orange area have been asked to assist with a pop up Vaccination hub, to operate from next week.

This arrangement would be considered work time and members would be paid for their time.

The PSA was not notified of this hub, or that staff would be requested to assist on a voluntary basis prior to receiving an email from our membership today.

The PSA notes that this arrangement can only occur where the member is happy to participate.

You can not be coerced into undertaking a role that is not your own.

Should any member not wish to participate, they are within their rights to refuse.

Where a member chooses to participate, they should do so safe in the knowledge the PSA can still represent them in this temporary role.
