Call for Delegate nominations. We are looking for School Psychologists Delegates; get involved with the PSA as a Delegate so we can advocate for you!

Two vacancies have arisen on the PSA School Psychologists Vocational Advisory Group and we are calling for nominations to fill them. The PSA thanks the previous Delegates, Alicia Rowan and Ben Bramston for the time, effort, and knowledge they put into advocating for the School Psychologist PSA membership.

The two members that fill these Delegate positions will join Erin Kremer, the PSA Delegate for Sydney Metropolitan.

What is the role of the Delegate?

Delegates assist in protecting and advancing the interests and rights of members in the workplace and they liaise directly with union staff to guide and advise us relation to collective matters. Find out more about the role and responsibilities of a union delegate HERE.

The PSA is currently negotiating an Award for School Psychologists with the Department of Education. Read more HERE.

As a Delegate you will be involved in the Award negotiations, alongside PSA staff. You will also meet as part of the School Psychologists Vocational Advisory Group (one-day meetings) on a quarterly basis. You will be released from work duties, to attend these meeting on paid time.

The PSA provides training for new Delegates which can be attended using Special Leave for Trade Union Training; up to 12 days every two years. Union Delegates will be supported and guided by PSA staff.

Contact your PSA Organiser at if you have questions about becoming a PSA Delegate.
