Dean Street Relocation Update - Public Service Association

Dean Street Relocation Update

Thank you to our members who attended the meeting Monday 14 August and provided feedback on the Dean St relocation to McCauley. The unanimous sentiment from the meetings attendees, is that the Department have not adequately addressed concerns with the relocation in order to ensure a seamless transition.

The PSA holds the view that continuing the relocation within the current timeframe is untenable, given the numerous concerns voiced by affected employees. Therefore, the PSA has written to seek a stay of proceedings on the relocation until our members’ concerns are adequately addressed.

Your PSA representatives will be meeting with the Department this coming Monday 21 August 2023 and intend to seek a new relocation date that respects the necessity for meaningful engagement and the operational needs of our members. Members will receive a further Bulletin after the meeting to report back. In the interim, members are to continue engaging in the process.

To those who attended the meeting but aren’t members, your presence matters. Your membership amplifies and adds weight to the collective voice. Join the PSA and drive positive change within your workplace.

Again, we extend our gratitude to all members who took part and shared their valuable feedback regarding the Dean St relocation to McCauley. Your input has not gone unnoticed, and we are committed to representing your best interests.
