Ausgrid – Update on Enterprise Agreement
The CPSU NSW and Ausgrid have been in EA negotiations since March 2024. The following is a summary of the Ausgrid offer presented to your union last week:
- For the first year of the new EA, Ausgrid have proposed a 7% increase in pay. Following this, in years 2 and 3 of the EA, any increases would equal the consumer price index (CPI) and no more.
- Regarding superannuation, Ausgrid have proposed a 0.5% increase in years 1 and 2 of the EA;
- An update to Appendix 4 of the existing EA in order to incorporate revised progression rules, performance ratings and top of band bonus payment developed by the Peak Consultative Committee (PCC) during 2023;
- The implementation of roster change with majority support by amending clause 18 of the current EA to enable the majority of a relevant work group to agree to a proposed roster change;
- The possibility of Public Holiday Substitution in order to provide an employee the ability to swap a public holiday with another day later in the year, with sufficient notice to Ausgrid;
- An enhanced on-call allowance
Members will be provided with further updates in due course. Any feedback or concerns on the above from members is welcome.
