Members will have heard with concern the reports of an incident at the Legal Aid Gosford office yesterday afternoon.

The PSA has been in contact with Legal Aid management offering to assist in any way. Management has kept us up to date with information as it developed.

The PSA notes that an all-staff update from the Chief Executive Officer was distributed yesterday afternoon confirming everyone was safe and accounted for, and no staff or clients were injured. This message also confirmed that critical care debriefing has been organised and is immediately available for staff.

At this time, it is appropriate to focus on supporting staff in any way possible.

The Gosford Office will be closed today. However, the PSA will be on site and available when the office reopens to assist members.
