As members will be aware, the Combined Transport Unions (CTU) begin negotiations for the RMS and TfNSW Award shortly.
We thank members for their time filling out the Log of Claims (LOC) Survey, we used your responses to formulate the following claims:
- A replication of the Working from Home provisions that are available to the Australian Public Service; this includes no caps on the number of days workers can WFH. You can find the full list of provisions won by the CPSU here
- A Shift Work Clause added to the TfNSW Award to aid the transition of RMS cohorts to the TfNSW Award
- Scrap the Grade 8 cap for overtime
- Increase the allowable accrual of flex per cycle to 42 hours
- Mandatory conversion to higher grade if the worker has been acting up for 24 months
- The inclusion of bereavement leave; at present, workers are only given time to organise logistics following the death of a loved one. We know that grief needs to be processed and your annual leave or long service leave balance should not have to be exhausted while grieving.
Once you have read through our claims, please complete this two-question survey here to give your endorsement.
If the PSA LOC is endorsed by our membership, we will include the above claims in the CTU LOC. Other unions contribute their own LOC and once it is combined, we will send out another survey to ensure that members are satisfied with the claims.
