| 1973 | The Women’s Auxiliary is renamed Women’s Council. |
| 1972 | The equal pay principle is extended to include the principle of equal pay for work of equal value. |
| 1971 | Maternity leave in the NSW public service is extended to unmarried women and temporary employees. |
