PSA members accept pay offer

An overwhelming majority of PSA members who participated in our survey have accepted the State Government’s offer of a 4 per cent pay rise, exclusive of the superannuation increase.

Eighty per cent of those who took part in our Pay Rise Survey said yes to the Labor Government’s offer of a 4 per cent increase to wages in addition to the legislated 0.5 per cent increase to superannuation.

For further details of the offer, you can read the original bulletin HERE.

What does this mean?

The PSA will write to the Government today notifying them of your decision to accept the offer.

Your union expects the applications to be lodged tomorrow in the Industrial Relations Commission of NSW tomorrow. The PSA will notify members when the Awards are finalised.

As members may be aware, the application process may take some time. However, the Government has guaranteed the pay rises will take effect on the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2023. If there is a delay, members will receive back pay to 1 July 2023.

The superannuation increase will be paid from 1 July 2023.
