State Parliament COVID-19 – PSA raises staff Work Health and Safety as priority - June 2021 (pdf version)

The PSA has been liaising with PSA Delegates, PSA members and State Parliament Department of Parliamentary Services (DPS) regarding reports that a NSW Minister has tested positive for COVID-19.

We have been taking feedback received from you directly to decision-makers. In a discussion with State Parliament DPS, the PSA:

  • strongly urged that your work health and safety be kept at the forefront of decision making processes.
  • requested staff receive consistent, clear communications regarding the situation.
  • requested NSW Health advice be followed and NSW Health advice be readily available to be provided to staff (COVID-19 fact sheets and guidelines can be found here).

The PSA will keep members updated. We will continue to advocate that your work health and safety is at the forefront of decision making processes.

If PSA members have industrial concerns, contact your PSA Delegates (below) your PSA Organiser (below) or call the PSA member Support Centre on 1300 772 679.
