The Honorable Robert McDougall KC report following his Independent Review of SafeWork NSW was handed down last week. This week the Auditor General has handed down their report on the effectiveness of SafeWork NSW in exercising its compliance functions.

As members would be aware, these two reports have the potential to impact your work and changes are expected to be implemented as a result.

The union knows that this has the potential to be a difficult time for members as the recommendations from these two reports flow through to the operations of your workplace.

The union will be with you every step of the way.

The PSA, along with delegates and member representatives is in the process of reviewing both documents. When this process is complete, we will be seeking feedback from you to ensure your interests as members and workers are protected.
