Together we grow: PSA acknowledges you on School Psychologists Recognition Day
Today is School Psychologists Recognition Day
The PSA wishes to acknowledge and recognise the critical role school psychologist members perform throughout the school year.
It is the work of School Psychologists that ensures students in public education are supported with integral psychology support so they can meaningfully engage in school life ensuring equity in access to education and support. Your work is vital to the delivery of educational outcomes of students in every community in NSW.
Thank you from the PSA for everything you do.
PSA continuing to work for School Psychologists: survey
Your union continues the important work of supporting the school psychologist role in schools. We are working with your delegates to address the challenges you face including:
- demanding workloads
- inconsistencies in working conditions such as whether you get to take breaks during the day
- how you record the hours you actually work on your flex sheets and,
- how critical incidents and phone calls concerning urgent matters impact your working hours outside of bandwidth hours
Please take the time to fill in the PSA School Psychologists survey HERE.
