With the NSW Government suspending all rail on Monday, 21 February 2022 many of you may have not been able to work as you could not commute to work and could not work from home. With limited services running on Tuesday, 22 February 2022 you may still be experiencing difficulties.
As a TfNSW Award employee if you have not been able to work due to this major transport disruption you are entitled to Family and Community Service (FACS) leave in accordance with:
- clause 30.1(d) of the Roads and Maritime Services Consolidated Salaried Award 2019; or
- clause 22.4 (b)(iv) of the Transport for New South Wales and Sydney Metro Salaries and Conditions of Employment Award 2021.
