Transport Management Centre consultative meeting update and Emergency Use Framework

Consultative meeting

The PSA has continued to meet with Transport Management Centre (TMC) management to discuss current and emerging issues.  Most recently the PSA met with TMC management on 7 April 2022.  At this meeting the recruitment of new positions to the TMC was discussed as well as the changes to Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) at the workplace.

It was explained to us that there had been very little negative feedback given around the proposed changes to RAT and that where negative feedback was being received they were working to try and explain the rationale behind the decision making and take on board feedback. Obviously the PSA would like to hear from any members that continue to have concerns around these changes.

The Emergency Use Framework has not been discussed further as we continue to engage with our membership on how to proceed.

Emergency Use Framework

The last PSA bulletin relating to this matter provided members with the proposed wording and how this proposal was attempting to address concerns raised by members. Members were then given the opportunity to provide the PSA with their feedback on this proposal.  You can read this bulletin here.

The PSA is now asking the membership to tell us what they think of the PSA’s proposed wording and for it to be provided to management.  You can view a copy HERE.

You can tell the PSA what you view is by undertaking a quick confidential yes/no survey by clicking HERE.
