Each year as a PSA member, you are entitled to 12 days of paid leave to undertake Trade Union Training.
Due to overwhelming demand, the PSA is holding “Introduction to the PSA” and “Role of the delegate” training courses twice in July. These courses complement each other; Introduction to the PSA gives you a background and knowledge of the PSA as an industrial organisation, and Role of the Delegate equips you with the tools and knowledge to assist you in representing your colleagues in the workplace.
You don’t need to be a delegate to attend these courses; Delegates are vital members of your Union, and if you’re considering becoming one or simply curious about getting involved, this is your opportunity!
The training courses will be held at PSA House on the following dates:
2 July 2024 – Introduction to the Union
3 July 2024 – Role of the Delegate
16 July 2024 – Introduction to the Union
17 July 2024 – Role of the Delegate
If you wish to attend, apply HERE.
More information on our training courses can be found HERE.
We will be holding more of these courses for the rest of the year, including in regional areas, please check our course timetable regularly for more courses HERE.
