PSA and local members met with Employee Relations recently regarding issues around access to flexible working arrangements.

From that meeting, a number of matters were taken to the Better Regulation Division Consultative Sub-Committee where we agreed to meet with the Department offline to deal with issues, particularly in relation to a historical pattern of work hours and flex sheets, and an entitlement that may have been grandparented when you came over from Water NSW.

Due to the unavailability of the Senior Employee Relations Advisor we have had to delay that meeting until after the Public Sector shutdown.

A meeting will be organised in the week beginning 8 January 2024 and local members will again be invited to attend.

Until then, PSA advises members that the status quo should prevail.  Until we have that meeting, members should continue filling in flex sheets across the break time, as you have done up until now.

However, we request that you keep a separate record of hours worked. A retrospective adjustment will be made if required once the meeting has occurred.
