Update on Sign In/Sign Out
Following on from the visit to Londonderry by the Assistant General Secretary and the discussion around signing in and out on paper, management has agreed to the following:
- Tick a box only
- No times recorded
- To be used only in case of fire or other emergency to take to evacuation site and confirm presence for emergency service personnel
- Being rolled out to all teams in directorate
Given that we are now coming into fire season, swipe access is not readily available in a fire situation and the safety of members is of paramount importance to PSA.
Given that this is not a matter we can take to the Industrial Relations Commission, following significant efforts by the PSA to negotiate a more palatable process for members, we trust that the concessions outlined above address your concerns.
