Update on Sign In/Sign Out

Following on from the visit to Londonderry by the Assistant General Secretary and the discussion around signing in and out on paper, management has agreed to the following:

  1. Tick a box only
  2. No times recorded
  3. To be used only in case of fire or other emergency to take to evacuation site and confirm presence for emergency service personnel
  4. Being rolled out to all teams in directorate

Given that we are now coming into fire season, swipe access is not readily available in a fire situation and the safety of members is of paramount importance to PSA.

Given that this is not a matter we can take to the Industrial Relations Commission, following significant efforts by the PSA to negotiate a more palatable process for members, we trust that the concessions outlined above address your concerns.
