Automotive Inspectors Uniform Allowance audit
The Department of Customer Service has confirmed with the PSA that an audit has been conducted of current and previous Automotive Inspectors Uniform Allowance payments dating back to 2 December 2016. Please note this is the Department of Customer Service. Department of Finance, Service and Innovation Transformation date and there is no visibility to the old system.
The audit has identified seven current and previous Automotive Inspectors who had either not received the allowance in full or had only received the allowance for some of their time in the role. The Department has advised the PSA that all identified current and former Automotive Inspectors were back-paid the allowance owed to them in the pay period ending 5 August 2021 and that HR is in the process of writing to each of the employees to inform them of the outcome.
