Ombudsman Flexible Working Agreement Ballot RESULTS ARE IN

The electronic ballot for voting on the proposed Ombudsman Flexible Working Hours Agreement (FWHA) has been finalised. Thank you to everyone that voted and provided feedback, and a special thank you to Delegate Mathew Bright for his time, effort and knowledge during this process.

The majority of members voted in favour of the proposed agreement.

The PSA will now formally write to NSW Ombudsman to advise the majority of our membership voted in favour of the proposed agreement. The Department have previously indicated agreement that this policy will take effect from early 2023, once this date has been agreed we will communicate this to the membership.

There will be ongoing discussions between the PSA and management regarding implementation.

This document puts a strong emphasis on the “if not, why not” approach and proper communication between parties to enable flexibility.
