Community Safety Directorate Restructure – August 2018 (PDF version)
Today, three-quarters of the CSD today received an email from HR to attend a meeting today for the restructure of the Community Safety Directorate. This meeting was arranged with less than four hours’ notice, and without consultation with the PSA.
HR has still yet to respond to our requests to clarify contradictory information presented to workers and the PSA, and thus we ask all members requested not to attend this meeting. The PSA has not received any notice of it, and thus will not be in attendance. We will continue to pressure management to clear up the process and ensure that the PSA will be involved to best support you and your interests during this restructure. Once again we suggest that you do not attend this meeting.

If you know anyone in the CSD area we encourage you to reach out to them and get them to join the union – it is essential, especially in times of a restructure, that people are a part of their union in order to best represent you, and get the best outcome for members.
