Corrective Services Administration and Stores restructure – July 2016 (PDF version)

The Administration and Stores restructure continues to be implemented by the Department of Justice.

The Department of Justice has provided the PSA with scant information on how the roles were evaluated and grades assigned.

The PSA noted a discrepancy in the information between the evaluated score for the roles and the grades assigned.

Specifically, this occurred with Clerical Grade 1-2 roles being downgraded to Clerk General Scale 1-2.

Despite further requests from the PSA for all the relevant documentation on how the roles were evaluated, the Department failed to provide the relevant information.

In response, the PSA has requested an urgent relisting in the Industrial Relations Commission (IRC).

The request to the IRC to relist the matter was sent on Tuesday 26 July 2016.

The PSA expects it will be heard this week.

The PSA will update members of the Commission’s recommendations after the matter has been heard.
