DEC Corporate Shared Services Restructure – February 2016 (PDF version)

On 1 February, the Department formally notified the PSA of a proposed restructure of Corporate Shared Services.

The proposed restructure will take place in two stages:

4 April 2016

  • Finance Shared Services, Business Services Operations, Business Services, Policy, Improvement and Transition and IT Service Desk will move to EDConnect
  • Teacher Approvals transition to Talent Acquisition
  • Systems Implementation will transition to SAP Payroll Implementation.

4 October 2016

  • HR Shared Services and Procurement will move to EDConnect.

The Department has advised us the Change Document will be developed following consultation with staff and unions.

The PSA will be making a submission on behalf of members, and delegates and PSA staff will continue to meet with management throughout the restructure process.

Have a look at the proposed organisational charts and draft position descriptions (available on your intranet).

Send your feedback to Jen Mitchell by COB Tuesday, 16 February 2016 so it can be included in the PSA submission.
