Did you know PSA Organisers are essential visitors?

Over the last few weeks PSA Organisers have been visiting schools to drop off information and make sure members have access to advice and support, something that is even more important through the pandemic.

Unions have been declared an essential service.  It is essential for all workers to have access to their union.

This means members and non-members having access to the PSA through visits and meetings.

Organise a meeting or visit now for updates on the wage freeze, safety during Covid-19 and more

If you would like a meeting at your school this can occur face to face, adhering to strict social distancing measures, or by teleconference or video call.

Our specialist Schools Organisers can update you on a range of matters including conversion to permanency, the upcoming Business Manager transition and Work Health & Safety including advice about how your school is managing Covid-19.

If you would like a visit or meeting, please don’t hesitate to contact your Organiser.

Alternatively you can contact the schools team at schools@psa.asn.au or Member Support Centre on 1300 772 679 to request a visit.

Tell us what you think – take the three-minute PSA survey

We want to hear from all classifications of support staff in schools about how things are for you.

If you can spare just three minutes of your time to fill in our simple survey it will give the PSA a better understanding of how you are feeling about your return to working on campus.

The survey is confidential and no individual respondent will be identified.

Do you know someone who still needs to join the PSA?

You can support the work of the PSA and delegates to get better outcomes for everyone just by asking your colleagues to JOIN the PSA.
