DPIE Communications, Marketing and Engagement restructure: Your feedback is needed!
On Monday 27 September, the PSA was provided with the proposed structure for the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment’s (DPIE) new centralised Communications, Marketing and Engagement (CME) model. The proposed structures can be found HERE.
A three-week consultation period has been provided for the PSA to gather feedback from members. In particular, we would like to know how this will affect you and whether you are able to identify your role in the new structure.
Members have also expressed concerns about management discussing a “phase one”, in which senior staff were consulted on the structure without other staff being involved. This phase was part of the process of understanding where roles currently sit and the functions they perform, as well as developing the draft structure for feedback.
The union still has the ability to influence the structure, and we intend to do this based on your vital input. This feedback is not limited to implementation, but encompasses the entirety of the structure, reporting lines, roles, and numbers.
Please forward through any feedback to DPIE PSA Organiser Chris Bird at . Also remember to encourage your colleagues to join the union so we can continue to represent the interests of staff.
