The PSA has been advised that Revenue is seeking to conduct a harmonisation of the Grade 3/4 Operations Support Officer Role with a view to aligning it with other Grade 3/4 roles in the Department.

Revenue is suggesting that having the same capabilities will make it easier for staff to participate in mobility opportunities.

We note that the majority of the 3/4 roles are in the Fines and Debt area.

We are expecting consultation to occur in coming weeks and have reminded the department of their obligation to consult with your union.
