PSA members have raised concerns that monies have been recouped from their pay without consultation and forewarning to those impacted.

The PSA contacted Taronga, which acknowledged the issue and advised it had occurred in error, due the payroll systems automatic processes.

No overpayment should be recovered without prior notice to or consultation with the employee to first determine the financial impact. In instances where the overpayment is significant, a payment plan can be developed so that the monies can be recouped without financially disadvantaging the employee.

Staff who have been impacted should contact Stuart Marshall at . He has advised he keen to resolve this issue and ensure that no staff member is financially disadvantaged.
