Newcastle Contact Centre lifts: Update for PSA members
The PSA has met with Service NSW in relation to ongoing incidents involving the Newcastle Contact Centre, Argyle Street lifts. We have been advised that the two recent events have been reported to SafeWork NSW and they are investigating.
In addition to this, the building owner has agreed to replace the lifts. In the short-term, staff at the NCC will be relocated to other work locations following consultation with their direct supervisor.
