Privatisation of POLAIR pilots threatens community safety
As a result of the troubling details that were reported at the joint members meeting on Friday, the PSA has released a statement to the media outlining the concerns of our membership.
You can view the media statement HERE.
The privatisation of pilot positions is a slippery slope for all POLAIR members, and the PSA holds serious concerns that the utilisation of contract piloting staff will lead to a serious incident or accident, as well as the potential for other positions to be contracted out.
Your union will continue to attempt to resolve these issues which we know are deeply concerning you. We look forward to engaging in further discussions with the NSWPF, and finding a positive outcome to address this, and other concerns which were raised at the meeting last Friday.
The PSA will keep you up to date with developments and will organise a follow-up meeting to discuss these matters with you further next week.
For any other urgent matters, please contact your Organiser, Marko Petrovic to discuss further.
