Aboriginal Affairs NSW Joint Consultative Committee: PSA requests quarterly consultation meeting
The PSA has written to Aboriginal Affairs NSW Executive requesting a Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) structure be created.
A JCC is a quarterly meeting between the PSA, PSA Delegates and Aboriginal Affairs NSW executive and/or management representatives.
The PSA will take your collective views to these meetings and advocate for better workplace outcomes. Issues raised at JCCs typically have collective industrial importance. This could include restructuring, work health and safety, workplace policy reform, flex arrangements, employment status and more.
Employees should have the opportunity to influence their work and their work environment. A JCC is a mechanism in which you are able to do this.
The PSA has requested the first meeting of the JCC be held before October 15 2021.
The PSA will await the Aboriginal Affairs Executive reply and will keep members updated as this matter progresses.
The PSA would like to thank your PSA Delegates Stephen Howarth, Carlo Svagelli and Haillie Jefferies and former PSA Delegate Anne Wright for their work in this matter.
If you have any questions, please email your PSA Delegates:
