Crown Solicitor’s Office Workplace Issues
The PSA has been conducting members’ meetings at the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office (CSO) in order to work towards resolving chronic workplace issues. Members have expressed concerns that there are many changes at the CSO, and workload pressures continue to mount:
- Feeling exhausted?
- Working long hours without being compensated?
- Working hours outside your contracted hours?
- Feeling undervalued and with no one to talk to?
- Do you have no faith that managed will address any of the issues highlighted in the People Matters Employee Survey?
If you said YES to any of the above, it is time you connect with your Union.
All the conditions you enjoy have been hard fought for by members past and present. The only effective way to protect and advance employee right is through the PSA.
If you are not a member, the PSA’s invites you to join today.
ARE YOU NEXT?
Members have reported that they are apprehensive about further restructures after the fallout from reception, the Elite system and finance teams. It is clear that management are unwilling to genuinely consider the welfare of employees. It is only by showing a united front and being involved in the PSA that we will be able to hold management to account.
The PSA will be holding a series of lunchroom visits (in person) each Tuesday from 16 March 2021, and a notice will be circulated shortly.
We also invite you to join the fortnightly Ms Teams meetings on Wednesdays, next one is scheduled for 17 March 2021
