Infrastructure NSW Restructure IT & Business Systems

On 10 February 2025 the PSA has been notified that Infrastructure NSW is commencing consultation with staff from the 10  February 2025 until 10:00am 24 February 2025.

The Association has been provided with a copy of the IT change management plan and presentation to staff.

Staff Impacts – the proposal plan advises the team currently has 11 positions and will increase to 13 positions.  However the change may result in 1-2 staff members being displaced due to future role requirements being quite different to current roles thus invoking an internal expression of interest (EOI)  process.

The proposed recruitment approach is for 4 stages:

  1. Direct Assignment
  2. Internal Suitability Assessment
  3. Workforce Mobility Placement Process
  4. External Recruitment. Following closing of the Consultation period on 24 February a final change proposal will be provided to the Chief Executive for approval. Infrastructure NSW is seeking to commence stage 1 recruitment from 10 March.

Feedback – If you have any concerns or suggestions in relation to the proposal you are able to advise management at or if you require PSA assistance or wish to provide feedback contact the PSA or 1800 772 679 please quote case ID C10003209 by 20 February 2025. The PSA can make submissions to Infrastructure NSW for any suggested amendments to the proposal or representations on behalf of impacted members. It is the PSA expectation that all affected staff are placed in a role.
