The PSA has been active in the media raising awareness of the low rates of pay for special constables and the unwillingness of the NSWPF and the government to rectify this issue.

As part of our campaign to ensure that Special Constables are paid fairly for the important work they do, the PSA will be visiting worksites to take pictures with members, reminding the Police Minister of her previous comments in regards to Special Constables.

The purpose of this action is to further highlight the important work you do and the struggles we have faced in receiving a meaningful offer to resolve these longstanding issues around pay.
