The most effective way to voice workplace concerns and progress the interests of employees at Legal Aid is through the PSA.

The PSA has a longstanding relationship with Legal Aid and engages in system of structured consultation with the Legal Aid executive (including the CEO). PSA delegates at Legal Aid play a central role in these processes. PSA delegates and PSA staff advocate for members in a number of forums, the Peak Consultative Committee is the Central structure. More generally, delegates are also involved in dealing with workplace issues across Legal Aid on a collective level and assist members on an individual basis with the support of PSA staff.
