The Office of Sport has sent through two draft policies as part of the required consultation process and have invited feedback from the PSA by Thursday, 24 November.
The PSA has sent these through to your Delegates and will meet with them prior to the 24 November but as always we are more than happy for members to provide feedback to us directly.
Office of Sport should have received the following drafts:
- Management of Gifts, Benefits and Hospitality Policy and Procedure, and
- Additional Work Policy and Procedure.
The initial review of the policies provided to the PSA raise no immediate concerns, but it is an opportune moment to remind members that it is important that as public sector employees that you are familiar with these policies and how they operate to avoid being in breach or non-compliance which can lead to misconduct proceedings which is always best avoided.
