Case Management Working Group – Update from meeting

Following on from our members meeting last Thursday 21 October to discuss the formation of a Case Management Working group, the initial Working Group meeting with the Department was also held on Thursday 21 October. The working group consists of staff from the Executive, Management and Case Management and the goal is to solve issues that are tabled by staff. As there is also PSA representation, matters can be escalated to the Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) by PSA delegates.

The following was raised at the member’s meeting in relation to the working group;

  • Gap in communication between the hierarchy and the field
  • Minutes from the working group meeting – Will they be available?
  • Transparency to all staff?
  • Working from Home – Confusion with the implementation of the crisis plan
  • How many RCCM’s are in the field and working from what regions?
  • Further Union nomination for the working group – Nominations will be submitted by the Non-Custodial Departmental Committee delegates
  • Request for additional training to support those working in the field
