Our members at the Long Bay Correctional Complex  will have received a link to an online expression of interest form for vacancies.

Generally, when an employee is transferred to a new worksite and cannot easily travel to the new location, they may be entitled to certain entitlements under the Crown Employees (Transferred Employees Compensation) Award (‘TECA’). to assist them with the move, which can include:

• Periods of leave.
• Travelling and meal expenses.
• Temporary accommodation.
• Removal and storage expenses. And
• Various other expenses.

However, if you complete this form CSNSW will view your transfer to a new location as being at your own request.  When an employee requests a transfer, they are not entitled to claim any benefits from TECA.

We advise our members to carefully consider this before putting in an expression of interest.
