Previously, any union meetings that you attended were in your own time and unpaid.

Following a request from your union, Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) has agreed that Non-Custodial staff at correctional centres who are union members will be allowed to meet monthly for one hour during work time and will be paid if on duty at this time.

These monthly union meetings will be scheduled at the same time as Prison Officers Vocational Branch meetings, but will occur in a separate area. The memorandum from Deputy Commissioners Anne Marie Martin and Luke Grant is linked HERE.
