You may have heard the PSA has received orders this evening from the Industrial Relations Commission ordering some members to cease industrial action planned for tomorrow, 8 June 2022. This ruling comes despite the Government’s insulting offer, received via email at 4:00pm yesterday, of a wage rise of just three per cent, including your superannuation increase of 0.5 per cent. This emailed offer did not bother to address our other claims, such as to provide for the payment of superannuation on the unpaid portion of the first 12 months of parental leave.

The PSA Central Council has directed members to proceed with industrial action as planned.

We are still going on strike.

All members are to cease work for 24 hours tomorrow. For POVB/COVB members, this action will commence at 6:00am Wednesday 8 June through to 6:00am Thursday 9 June.

We are walking off the job and fighting for all Public Sector workers to receive a minimum wage increase of 5.2 per cent, exclusive of any increase to superannuation.
